Nepal Tours |
Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, Nepal, one of the
most popular destinations for Tours in Nepal. Embarking
on tour in Nepal is one of the best ways to savor the
lifestyles and the culture that has charmed the people
all over the world. A tour in Nepal is traveling from
one place to another in a vehicle accompanied by a guide
who will introduce you to the various places and show
you the sights and sounds of the country. Nepal, the
land of splendid nature and rich culture is waiting for
your exploration through its different facets.
The Himalayan Kingdom has the richest and most diverse
culture landscapes anywhere. Nepal is the holy land of
Lord Pashupatinath and Gautam Buddha where the Hindus
and Buddhists have lived together in harmony for
centuries. The Temple of Pashupatinath is Nepal's most
scared Hindu shrine and one of the four most important
cities in the world for Shiva worshippers. Lord Buddha,
the light of Asia, was born in Lumbini in Nepal/s
southern plains, which makes Nepal a scared pilgrimage
destination for Buddhists as well.
For those who do not want to withstand the rigorousness
of mountain climbing, long and strenuous trekking I have
compiled a list of opportunities for easy Nepal tour
with comprehensive information. I have classified tours
in Nepal in following categories:
1. Nepal Sightseeing / Culture Tour

Nepal Sightseeing / Culture Tour
For those interested in culture, the Kathmandu
valley, is endowed with seven World Heritage
sites. This valley contains countless
architectural monuments, and vestiges of varied
cultural and religious traditions.
The Culture Tour package will give you a chance
to appreciate the charming architectural
heritages....Through out its long history,
Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal has been a
unique patchwork of cultural diversity. In other
chapters we explain in detail some of the more
popular gentle sides of a holiday in our Kingdom
including the Kathmandu Valley itself and other
major settlements of interest in Nepal.
Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur are the places
where temples, shrines and palaces were made and
re-made. It is the melting pot of new and old
tradition. From Kathmandu valley, Nepalese art
and culture were also developed and refined in
many stages. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur each
have their own artistic, architectural and
historical background. Beyond, the cities there
are hundreds of temples and shrines, traditional
villages, agricultural scenes and many more
beauties present in Nepal. Besides from a
discovery of harmony of Buddhism and Hinduism in
and around the Kathmandu Valley, you are granted
a chance to trace back to the life of the
"Enlightened One" or the Buddha, the founder of
Buddhism in Lumbini. Kathmandu, a living museum
city has been a cultural hub of Nepal for
thousand of years.

Village Tour
Village tours allow visitors to experience a
stay in a typical Nepali village. This gives
visitors an opportunity to observe the real
Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest
quarter and intermingle with the locals.
Besides, any expenses made at that level
directly contribute to the welfare of the local
community, hence giving the visitors a sense of
satisfaction. Village Tour differs from trekking
in a couple of important ways. First, although
some walking is involved, and a trekking permit
may even be required, exercise is secondary to
the cultural experience: the whole point is to
stay in one village and get to know its people,
not to cover distances between villages. Second,
accommodation is in an actual home, not a
trekking inn filled with other backpackers, so
the cross-cultural exchange is more authentic.

Current Tourism News |

Nepal trekking /
travel related business was booming until 1999. After that, the
incessant conflict scared off tourists from visiting
Nepal and we are feeling the pinch of the fall in
tourist arrivals. There was a time when we recorded such
a huge flow of tourists that we used to turn back some.
As a professional Nepal tour operator we did not have sufficient
staff and equipment to handle all of them...
