Places To See In Nepal

Nepal is known as a land where you can revitalize your mind, body and soul amidst, scenery that is simply knock out. I can arrange some of the most interesting site-seeing trips in the country where I have been frequently. For those who cannot withstand the rigorousness of mountain climbing here are mountain flights, which fly around Mt. Everest and other summits providing a close- up of the top of the world. On a clear day, the hill resorts of Nagarkot (32 km east of Kathmandu), Dhulikhel (34km) and Daman (80 km southwest of Kathmandu) offer magnificent views of the entire Himalayan range. For the less adventurous, Pokhara, the lake city of Nepal provides ample opportunities of fishing, swimming, canoeing and boating along with majestic panoramic views in its background or you can visit at Lumbini birthplace of Lord Buddha which is the pilgrimage destination of the world's millions people and is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Ag-Old traditional hospitality is an added bonus, of course. Kathmandu valley is the Shangri-La city of Nepal is a novelty destination for many. The city is surrounded by hills and is the cradle of Nepalese civilization and culture. The Kathmandu valley boasts of seven worlds cultural Heritage sites all with in a radius of 20kms. The city is famous for its Archeological and historical sites. Once a separate kingdom in itself, it contains four major fabled cities, Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.

Other interesting sites such as Namo Buddha, an amazing legend related to the Buddha which is good place for medatation, Budanilkantha (about 8 km north of kathmandu) is remarkable colossable status of Lord Vishnu, reclining on bed of snakes, Dachhin Kali a tantrc goodness and famous Chovar Gorge are very interesting place for sight-seeing around Kathmandu valley.

Nepal Tourism Business

Nepal trekking / travel related business was booming until 1999. After that, the incessant conflict scared off tourists from visiting Nepal and we are feeling the pinch of the fall in tourist arrivals. There was a time when we recorded such a huge flow of tourists that we used to turn back some. As a professional Nepal tour operator we did not have sufficient staff and equipment to handle all of them...
