Here you will find some of the most exciting safari destination in the world. You will be going into deep evergreen jungle on Elephant back safari to view wild animals in their natural habitat. Major Jungle Safari Routes in Nepal

Chitwan National Park

Nepal's first and most famous national park is situated in the lowlands of inner Terai. Covering an area of 932 sq. km the park includes hilly areas covered by deciduous forest. This ecologically diverse area is the last remaining home in Nepal for more than 300 of the endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros and harbors one of the largest population of the elusive and rare Royal Bengal Tiger. Beside the Rhino and Tiger, Chitwan also supports a great variety of flora and fauna. There are four species of deer, including the spotted Chital, Leopard, Sloth bear, Wild boar, rhesus monkey, Grey Langur monkey, wild dog, small wild cats, the white gaur (the world's largest wild cattle) and many other smaller animals.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival KATHMANDU International Airport, welcome transfer to hotel and rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel. Q/N.
Day 2 After breakfast, half day sightseeing or Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa. Enjoy a traditional Nepalese dance program in the evening.
Day 3 After breakfast, transfer to Chitwan by road. Check into lodge/resort/Camp. Jungle activities after lunch.
Day 4 Full day Jungle activities.
Day 5 After breakfast, either departure transfers to Bharatpur airport for flight to Kathmandu or overland transportation to Kathmandu.


Bardia National Park

The Bardia National Park is situated on the eastern banks of the Karnali River, about 400-km west of Kathmandu. The park is 968 sq. km in area and extends from the Churia hills southward to the gentle slopes of the 'Bhabhar'. The western end of the Bardia is bounded by numerous waterways of the Karnali River, which have created many large and small gravel islands. Bardia is the home of a wide variety of animals, many of which live in and around the National Park. Spotted deer, Black buck, Hog deer, Samber deer, Wild boar, Swamp deer, two species of Monkeys, Wild elephants, Crocodile, Dolphin and Blue bull are found here. More than 350 species of birds have been recorded in Bardia, truly a bird watcher's paradise. Programs:


Itinerary

Day 1 Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport by our representative, transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Departure to Bardia, arrival at Hotel and Cultural tour to a Tharu village and visit Elephant breeding center.
Day 3 Jungle trek (Chance to see the barking dear, bear, blue cow, rhinos and might be Royal Bengal tiger).
Day 4 Day walk to Karnali River to see Dolphins and Elephant Safari.
Day 5 Bird watching and back to Kathmandu.
Day 6 Transfer to airport and departure on your own destination.
Day 7 Day walk to Karnali River to see Dolphins and Elephant Safari.
Day 8 Day walk to Karnali River to see Dolphins and Elephant Safari.


Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp the very first luxury 24 bedded safari tented camp within Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is one of the exclusive wildlife camps that offers a unique experience to view almost400 species of bird life and some of the very rare wild games. Staffed with knowledgeable local naturalist and "sikaris" , the camp is most comfortable, safe and haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The camp consists of 12 large deluxe safari tents with easy twin beds and simple modern toilet amenity including hot and cold shower facility. The restaurant with fully stocked bar is located centrally on the thatched "Golghar" both Nepali and western cuisine is served which are simple and tasty.


Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 Fly or drive to Biratnagar and drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
Day 3 Jungle activities at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
Day 4 Safari activities to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
Day 5 Drive to Biratnagar and fly to Kathmandu.
Day 6 Departure.


Khaptad National Park

Khaptad is Nepal's newest national park, receiving its designation only in 1985. It consists of 225 sq. km of forest and grassland, and lis on a plateau where the districts of Bhajhang, Bajura, Doti and Achham meet. Khaptad Swami among Nepalis, Khaptad is best known as a holy site and is closely associated with a widely revert ascetic who lived here for Mandu years and who was known simply as the 'Khaptad Swami'. The origins and background of Khaptad Swami, who died in 1996 at the grand old reported age of 110, are shrouded in mystery. Some speculate that he was a doctor from India who renounced his worldly life in favor of a purely spiritual existence in a remote part if the holy Himalaya.

Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan Intl. Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 2 Breakfast Kathmandu city sightseeing Lunch Continue sightseeing Dinner and night halt at hotel.
Day 3 Breakfast Transfer to domestic airport. Fly over the Mahendra Nagar, Lunch Walk along a clear trail to the park at Jhigrana [4 hrs] Night stop at Jhigrana, Dinner [Dal-bhat-tarkari tipical Nepali's foods supply by our staffs].
Day 4 Breakfast Trek start from Jhigrana to village Chorpani [3 hrs] Lunch,Trek to Chorpani to Khaptad National Park back to Chorpani and over night at camp.
Day 5 National Park Program end Back to Jhigrana about 7 hour's trek Night stop at Jhigarana
Day 6 Break fast Walk 3 hrs from Jhigrana to Mahendranagar airport Fly back to Kathmandu Overnight at hotel.
