Day 01 : |
Arrive at Bhadrapur Or Bagdogra Airport.
Drive up the Teesta valley to Gangtok the
capital of Sikkim. Hotel Sonam Delek. (D) |
Day 02 : |
Gangtok town & Rumtek Monastery sightseeing.
Hotel Sonam Delek. (B, L, D) |
Day 03 : |
Drive Gangtok to Pelling. Lodge or Camp. (B,
L, D) |
Day 04 : |
Visit Pemayangtse Monastery.
Drive to road-head at Nambu. Camp. (B, L, D) |
Day 05-08 : |
Start Singalila ridge trek. Trek Nambu to
Chauri and to Yanbong via Dafey Bhir. Trek
Yambong to Gomathang. Rest Day at Gomathang
for acclimatization. Camp. (B, L, D) |
Day 09-11 : |
Trek Gomathang to Pangdin and to Dzongri.
Rest day at Dzongri. Climb Dzongri top for
sunrise/sunset views. Optional hike to
Dzongri Pass and Ratong Valley. Camp. (B, L,

12-14 : |
Trek Dzongri to Thansing and to Lamune.
Early morning trek to Goechla (Highest Point
5000m/16400ft) via Samiti Pokhari(lake) and
back to Thansing. Camp. (B, L, D) |

Trek Thansing to Tsokha and Yuksom.
Singalila Ridge trek ends. (B, L, D) |

Drive Yuksom to Kalimpong. Hotel Cloud 9.

Drive to Bagdogra or Bhadrapur Airport for
departure flight. (B) |

travel related business was booming until 1999. After that, the
incessant conflict scared off tourists from visiting
Nepal and we are feeling the pinch of the fall in
tourist arrivals. There was a time when we recorded such
a huge flow of tourists that we used to turn back some.
