Term and Condition

Please read our term and conditions prior to making your booking.

1. To reserve a tour of your personal interest that is to be organized by Hike Nepal Ltd, you are kindly requested to fill up Booking Form and click on ‘Send ‘ – button. You must have a valid e-mail address and any field marked with an asterisk (*) is a required field and must be filled out. For 100% trek/tour confirmation the deposit to the Bank should be placed 20 % of the total cost. Himalayan Bank, Thamel Kathmandu is our guarantor, which is leading commercial bank of Nepal. Once your advanced money is deposited in our bank, we ensure you that we will issue and send you a copy of the receipt for the amount on fax within 24 hours to prove you that we have obtained your money paid for the tour. Then you will have to settle rest of the balance payment upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

2. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize and accept the risk and hazards potentially involved in adventure holidays and that you are mentally and physically capable of undertaking your chosen trip.

3. In case we receive your cancellation request for your tour, we are obliged to imply 10% subtract of the total payment for Nepal tour and 20% for Tibet, Bhutan, and Sikkim tour. But to remind you correctly, your cancellation should be made at least 15 days prior to commencement of your tour. Otherwise cancellation request thereafter, is not entertained.

4. All payments are to made to in US$ cash or travelers cheque and full payment must be done before the start of your program.

5. If the departure of a trek from Kathmandu is delayed for any reason outside the control of Hike Nepal Ltd (such as flight cancellation, weather, sickness) the charges will have to be bear by the clients themselves.

6. If a trek is extended beyond the original terminal date of the trek, extra days will be charged in full.

7. There will be no refund for the trip cut short for any reason beyond Hike Nepal’s control or at clients own request or even if sickness is the cause.

8. Cancellation Policy: Should anyone wish to cancel a trip booked with Hike Nepal, the following conditions will apply Cancellation charges are calculated per person and according to your arrival date in the country you have chosen.

> More than 30 days before departure - Deposit amount

> 30 days before departure date - 25% of total cost

> 15 days before departure date - 50% of total cost

> Less than 15 days before departure date - No Refund.
