| Day 01 | Arrival in Kathmandu |
| Day 2 | Sightseeing / Cultural Day in Kathmandu
Valley Today we explore Kathmandu with a local guide,After breakfast, you will visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then proceed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. Stay overnight in Kathmandu. |
| Day 3 | Kathmandu drive to Beshishar and to Bulbule (790M) -6-hour drive After breakfast, we drive to Bhulbhule via Besisahar. It normally takes about 6 hours to reach to Bhulbhule, thoruhg Beshashar which is the capital of Lamjung district of Nepal. The drive continues passes through several valleys villages mostly through the banks of Trishuli & Marsyangdi river. After Dumre on Prithvi Highway, we head through the forests, terraced plains on the bank of Marsyangdi River for about two hours before reaching Bhulbhule.Spend overnight at Bulbule. |
| Day 4 | Bhulbhule to Jagat (1330 m) - 5 hour After checking our trek permit at Bhulbhule we cross Marshyangdi Khola (river) on a long suspension bridge and we will pass a majestic waterfall along the way. The trail reaches to Ngadi and to Lampata. If we come earlier this could be our destinanaion for overnight. From Nangdi we finally making a short steep climb you will reach Baundanda (Bramins Hill) Descend on a steep, slippery trail and then climb to Lili Bhir, where you can visit a small hot spring. The trek continues to Khanigaon (1170m) and further on to Ghermu Phant with a huge waterfall. Then the trail descends, crosses the Marshyangdi on a bridge at Syange (1080m) and climbs to Shree Chaur. Passing a small waterfall, we descend a little bit and the trail reaches Jagat (1330 m) where we will be spending overnight. |
| Day 5 | Jagat to Dharapani (1945 m) - 6 hours We climb steadily all day long Tal (1664, 5460 ft), a small village at the foot of a large waterfall. We are now entering the Manang district. After leaving Tal, we cross a large bridge to the village of Dharapani (6103 ft ) where our trekking permits are checked, |
| Day 6 | Dharapani to Chame (2700m, 8600 ft) - 6 hours Today We climb through forest to Bagarchap (7120 ft ) which was the first village on the trek with typical Tibetan architecture and now washed away by Landslide in 1994.The trail is now bearing west, Manaslu forming a splendid backdrop and Annapurna II (26040 ft ) appearing occasionally to the south. We continue through forests of pine and fir, resting at the hamlets or Charku, Thangje and Kuparkot. As we continue on the same (8859 ft), views of the Annapurna improve dramatically. |
| Day 7 | Chame to Pisang (3190m ) - 5:30 hours) From Chame, we will reach Bhratang after walking through the pine forest and huge apple orchard which is surrounded by a stone wall. The trail has admirable views of Annapurna II, Pisang peak, Himalchuli and Ngadi Chuli and ends for the day at Pisang, upper part of Manang Valley. |
| Day 8 | Pisang to Manang (3540m) The trail from Pisang takes a long ascent with the excellent view of the Manang valley and Tilicho peak(7134m), reaching Manang airstrip at Hongde (3325m). Crossing to the north bank of Marshyangdi on a bridge, the trail passes Mungji (3360m) and climbs to Bryaga (3550m), Tibetan-style village. Finally, you will reach Manang. | Day 9 | Manang - Rest Day It is highly recommended to have an extra day in Manang for acclimatisation as we start the climb towards the Thorong La in next days. There are some side trips around Manang. One option is to walk to Khangsar village on the way to Tilicho Lake or a longer walk to Ice Lake above Braga, Gangapurna lake,It is well worth visiting the gompa above Braga as well as attending the Himalayan Rescure afternoon lecture on altitude and acclimatisation. |
| Day 10 | Manang to Yak Kharka (4,090 m). Today is a shorter day, takes about 3 to 4 hours. As we go higher up the discance will be shorter in order to help everyone acclimatise to the altitude. It is recommdned to go for an afternoon walk which also helps with this process, you can either walk up the valley and back to the lodge or climb the ridge behind the village. |
| Day 11 | Yak Khadka to Thorong Phedi (4,490 m). Leaving Yak Kharka we pass through a few lodges at Letdar and after crossing the river there is a climb to Thorong Phedi. In the afternoon it is a good idea to go for a short walk. Stay overnight at Throng Phedi. |
| Day 12 | Thorong Phedi trek over the Thorong La (5,400m) and to Muktinath (3,800m). Today we will wake up early morning and after breakfast we leave Phedi at first light for the challenging walk over the Thorong La. The trail begins with a steep ascent immediately from Thorung Phendi but the route becomes less so as we gain altitude. The 4-5 hours steep climb takes you prayer flags welcoming you to the top of an icy pass. Two peaks rise up from the saddle of the pass. To the north is Yakawa Kang 6482 m and to the south Khatung Kang 6488m. |
| Day 13 | Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) From Muktinath the trail descends to Jharkot and to Khingar. Beyond Khingar you will meet the junction of two routes. The first one is Kagbeni (the entrance of upper Mustang) and another is to Jomsom. Then the trail proceeds to Eklebatti following the Kali Gandaki River. You will end the day at Jomsom where you can see the Annapurna Conservation Project check post, hospital, airport and army camp. Evening Yoga and O/n at mountain lodge |
| Day 14 | Jomsom to Kalopani (2,560m). The trail follows the Kali Gandaki down to the town of Jomsom and then on to the pretty village of Marpha set amongst apple orchards and we pass the interesting village of Tukuche with its large, carved houses before continuing on down the Kali Gandaki to the villages of Karjung and Larjung. Kalopani is further located a little further down the valley. |
| Day 15 | Kalopani to Tatopani (1,190 m). From today we leave dry landscape and start to see pine, cypress and junipers trees. The trail is sometimes on the valley floor and other times on a trail high above. Tatopani is village with natural hot springs and is it well worth having a soak in the afternoon. |
| Day 16 | Tatopani to Ghorepani (2855 m) Travel to Kaligandaki river then long rise until a Ghorepani. (7hrs). We then cross the Kali Gandaki and then climb to the Magar village of Sikha, we climb steadily all day, we leave behind the terraced fields and enter into thick rhododendron forest and village of Ghorepani. We camp at the Pass where we can get the best views of sunset and dawn of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. This village was originally a horse-watering post, which has evolved into an important crossroads for tourists and the numerous mule caravans on the Jomoson-Pokhara trip. |
| Day 17 | Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590m): In the morning ascend Poonhill (3200m) for the beautiful sunrise and breakfast spectacular views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre ranges. After having breakfast we start Climb the Deorali (2855m) then descent through the forest rhododendron until Tadapani (6hrs) Overnight in Lodge. |
| Day 18 | Tadapani to Ghandruk (1919m):
Descent in the forest until Gandrung, Visit a village of Gurungs community and enjoy cross with beautiful magnificent mountain. (4.30 hours) Overnight in hotel. The Ghandruk is very popular for diversity in both landscape and people which is a second largest Gurung village in Nepal with their own distinct language & culture. |
| Day 19 | Ghandruk to Pokhara Easy increase until Birethati and crossing by Modi river and descent up to point to join the track by bus to Pokhara hotel. |

To trek to Everest Base Camp you do not need to be a super athlete nor a mountaineer but a few weeks of training, prior to arriving in Nepal, will enhance your experience. It will not be more enjoyable spending the trip of a lifetime struggling to walk the trails every day when a little sensible preparation before you arrive would make the trails so much more rewarding.

But most tea-houses offers pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables and even some desserts like apple pies, pancakes, and some interesting attempts at custard.
Everest Base Camp trek can be done in Autumn (Sept-Nov) when you can expect better visibility, the air is fresh, and the weather is perfect and that the Nepalese most important festivals (Dashain and Tihar) are marked during this season The best season offering excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views. Or in Spring ( March - Mary) which is particularly lovely as the mountain slopes are covered with beautiful and colorful flowers and still have plenty of high snow to enhance your photos. The temperature is quite moderate and the mountain views are excellent.
