Since I started this profession, as a freelance guide I have been putting my best efforts to seek and introduce my clients to least visited areas of Nepal Himalayas. These non – tourist areas are of course away from crowed and beaten trails but very superb one.

I have accumulated some non – touristy areas of Nepal in this page. Please check it.

Kalinchowk Trekking 18 B 3579 m Sep - Dec, Mar - May
KalinchowkFrom Kathmandu we drive via Barabise to Kharidunga. Along the trek we will come across some villages mainly inhabited by Tamangs, Sherpas, and Brahmins. Along the trail also can be seen are a few monasteries and Temples. A good view of the Mountains and Sunkoshi river can also be had. After crossing Sherpa villages you come across a thick forest with lots Rhododendron trees. After that you reach Kalinchowk. From the highest altitude of Kalinchowk (3579meters) we could get a good view of Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Shisha Panga , Langtang, Dorjee Lakpa, Jugal Himal, Amabamori, Gauri Shanker, and Namburi Himal.
Sailung Trekking 11 C 2500 m Sep - Dec, Mar - May
sailung Just drive to the Dolakha (Mude) from Katmandu, side is eastern part of Nepal .Main highlight of this trekking is to see the magnificent views of eastern part of Himalayas of Nepal and encounter with several different ethnic people and interesting experience about socio-economic situation, life style and their professions. Specially, people like this area very much who are interested to visit to the non-tourist area for the nature and culture.
Singla Pass Trekking 10 C 2000 m Sep - Dec, Mar - May
Singla-pass-trekkingThis trekking area lies north of Kathmandu. You start walking from Trishuli Bazaar after a 4 hours bus ride. This is an easy trek, so it is recommended for older or families with children. Himalayan view of Giant Ganesh Himal and many more beautiful culture are the main attraction of this trek.
Trishuli Gorkha Trekking 08 A 1800 m Apr - May , Sep - Nov
Trishuli GorkhaThis is a week long walk starts from Trishuli Bazar-an old famous town to the north of Kathmandu brings through nice and cultural villages with nature to the Nepal's most historical place "Gorkha" -the name of Nepal's origination. This is not very hard trek but very non-touristy, cultural and peaceful. The lodges are not available along the route. Thus, the tour must be arranged a fully organized camping one. The Himalayan View of gaint Ganesh Himal family, Manaslu toward Annapurna range is the most attraction of the tour too.
